Choose Healthy Bliss Events!

I held a gathering today to discuss the first "Choose Healthy Bliss!" Conscious Living Event in Decatur, targeted for Nov '08.  My mission is to provide the information and resources to the community to inspire and empower them to be responsible for their health and happiness.

People are hungry for information on health and the truth.  People make decisions based on what they know.  Knowledge is Power!  These events will provide the education that they are searching for.  We are all initiated and overwhelmed with emails and information online and want to hear it and experience it live.  We want to know where to go for health and happiness, get out of our house, away from our computers, socialize and have fun!

I will be showing my favorite movie "Food Matters", serving a raw, vegan, and plant based gourmet lunch in the morning with speakers on various health and wellness topics throughout the afternoon.  We will be drawing for great raffle prizes after each speaker and attendees will walk away blissful and empowered with a gift bag full of information.

I love the feeling of freedom and empowerment from this picture as well as the saying on her back...but wait, it's a freakin' Pepsi ad!!!  What is RAW about Pepsi???!!!  Pepsi is NOT RAW.

Empowered with Conscious Language

Last night I attended a meeting held at Jenya Hampton's house that has changed my awareness around the words I choose to use forever. Jenya brought Bob Steven to Atlanta for the first stop of his tour sharing his extensive knowledge of Bio-Optic Holography and Conscious Language.

You may have heard that everything you think is true or whatever you think becomes your reality.  The same is true with the words that you choose to use.  "I wish" and "I want" means you will remain wishing and wanting.   "I can't" and "I don't have or want" will become true as well.  "I have" and "I am" empowers you into that which you say. 

It feels different in your body when you say empowering beliefs.  We are all made up of energy and we choose to feed it or deplete it with our words and beliefs.  We are pure, perfect, god, love, abundance and health.  We just need to WAKE UP to that truth and step into our POWER with choosing our words, thoughts and life.  "See perfection in everyone.  Voice your choice and THRIVE!"

I bought his book and came straight home to read it.  I dreamt all night about teaching Conscious Language and creating a Conscious Community.  This is what I've been developing over the last year; teaching conscious choices around food and thoughts, words now complete me.

Today has been divinely guided with a constant stream of ideas and creations.  I am also taking Julia Griffin's Manifestation ecourse and our weekly call was tonight was on "Ongoing Creation"...the synchronicities are abundant!

Post Master Cleanser Hangover!

Friday was my first day eating and it is also when my headache started...and didn't stop until today, Monday!  I've only had my usual diet of raw fruit and veggies so all I can equate it to is my body detoxing the sugar from the jars of maple syrup I consumed over 10 days.  That is my self-diagnoses guess. 

Listening to my body, I took it slow and easy over the weekend.  I did teach a Journaling Workshop on Sunday and when I am helping others my pains seem to go away.  Empowering people feeds my soul.  After that ended though my energy felt funky and so I ended my night with a movie and a book.  When I woke up this morning I reached for my journal and wrote 3 pages of "Steam of Consciousness" which is a technique to get out repetitive thoughts, calm the mind and come up with a plan of action.  I have a lot going on and it needed to come out on paper to help me know what to do first.  Writing it down seems to form a contract and I get it done!

After a Zone Healing session I was feeling motivated to run for the first time since pre-cleanse. I wasn't sure if I was going to have the energy but it came to me after I began.  The weather was perfect and I was sweating it out!

Taking It Slow, Nurturing

Today was a beautiful day to take it slow and be within myself.  It was a little hard on my body adjusting to digesting yesterday and I know I needed to take care of myself today.  I started the day off with a green smoothie and finished a proposal.  There was a lot of inner reflection coming up so I decided to get it out on paper.  In becoming clear with myself I was motivated to re-do my journaling  flip chart for my workshop tomorrow while listening to beautiful music from Shiva Rea.  I made a wrap of avocado, tomatoes, cucumber and mineral salt wrapped in romaine lettuce for lunch.

I felt connected and creative all day with a sense of renewal.  After I finished my flip chat I walked, Hudson, my yellow lab down to Dynamic Dish to pick up an arugula salad and pumpkin soup.                                                                                                                                                   
Feeling the warmth of nurturance I soaked in an Epsom Salt bath while reading "Ordinary People as Monks & Mystics.  Staying with the feeling, I'm going to now curl up in bed and continue reading.

Being In Service and Adjusting to Eating Again

My first day, after 11 days without eating, incorporating food back into my body I decided to volunteer at Brenda Cobb's Living Food Institute and spent my morning washing and cutting fresh organic produce.  It was a needed break from all of the productive time I had during the cleanse with planning for my life.  To be of service to others is needed to be in service to our spirits.  That is what we all crave, to love and to be loved unconditionally.

I had some energy soup and a shot of Wheatgrass first thing in the morning.  It was an interesting feeling since I hadn't had any greens for 11 days.  I think it was a shock to my system.  I spent 4 hours there ending with a big salad topped with a few different kind of sprouts and veggie kraut with nourishing probiotics for digestion.  The rest of the day I felt a little funky and tired.  I miss the constant energy buzz I had but I also know that my body needs nutrients again. 

I went to Whole Foods to make sure I had some food at home but I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat so I reverted back to what I was used to buying before the cleanse.  All of the digestion from lunch was taking up my thinking power. 

I'm going to dinner at Lovin' It Live with my friend but I may just have a soup since I'm not that hungry and I have an "adjusting to food" headache.

Day 10 - Last Day, New Beginnings!

I'm so excited!!! Today is the 10th day of my Master Cleanse; I made it with no pain and all gain. 

I've spent all year creating new beginnings and businesses from my heart with no regular money coming in.  This month was the "I might lose everything I own but I'm OK with whatever happens" month.  This week it became clear to me that I needed to bring in a regular income somehow but I wasn't willing to give up my dream so I decided that I would wait tables again.  It's been 12 years since I last served at a restaurant and it still stands out as my favorite job.  I loved everything about waitressing; meeting new people, moving my body, making people happy, describing food, serving drinks and earning my own tips. 

I was drawn to the new Fifth Group Restaurant, The Original El Taco, in the old Sala space that opens for business Oct 21st, 2008.  You can read about it here.  I applied for one of the last 2 server positions today and got the job on the spot!  I'm very excited to start training next week and do what I love while making money again.  I can't believe it's been almost a year since I've received a paycheck!  I'll be working there full time at night and building Be Well Atlanta's selective network of the top wellness-focused businesses, physicians, practitioners and restaurants during the day.

This 10 day cleanse helped me in so many ways:

• Focused clarity
• Constant energy
• Upbeat, calm mood
• Light body (yes I can fit into clothes that I haven't worn in 3 years!)
• More productive and clear
• Connection to source, feeling guided
• Released toxins
• Released anything that has held me back
• Opened me up to receive abundance again!

To come off the Master Cleanser (I love saying it with the 'r' on the end!) it says to drink several 8 oz. glasses of fresh orange juice for two days.  The orange juice prepares the digestive system to properly digest and assimilate regular food.  I opted instead to buy Arden's Garden 2 Day Detox blend of:
48 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
32 oz. fresh orange juice
16 oz. fresh lemon juice
160 oz. quality steam-distilled water
Empty 1 gal. jug for mixing
Funnel (optional)
